The Witcher 3 Next Gen PC update has already launched in some regions and here’s a preview of what the game looks like with ray tracing on versus off powered by an NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU. If you already own the game on PC, Playstation 5, or Xbox Series S|X, The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update can be downloaded as soon as you go to the store page.



Some of the PC and Next Gen exclusives include added ray traced global illumination / ambient occlusion, an additional option to turn on ray traced reflections as well as shadows, and various mod-inspired content to improve overall game quality. There are also some community-made favorites in addition to the developer’s own modifications in areas such as environment / cut scene improvements, realistic pavements, and many decoration upgrades.
