New Stream Frog Species ‘Hyloscirtus Tolkieni’ was Named After English Author J. R. R. Tolkien

Whereas not as tiny as Brachycephalus Brunneus, Hyloscirtus Tolkikieni, a brand new stream frog species, was named after English creator and Lord of the Rings creator J.R.R. Tolkien. It was found in Ecuador hiding across the streams of Río Negro-Sopladora Nationwide Park and measures 2.5-inches (63.5 millimeters) lengthy.

What units this stream frog other than the opposite species is its grayish-green again with yellow / black specks and a pale pink / black iris.
