The Doc Basis – the group behind LibreOffice – has publicly criticized Euro-Workplace over considerations that it doesn’t genuinely promote European digital sovereignty regardless of its advertising and marketing as a viable European different to the likes of Microsoft Workplace.

LibreOffice described Euro-Workplace as a “freeware clone” of its Massive Tech rival, claiming its technique is to imitate Microsoft’s interface and workflows.
