Unreal Engine 5 can be used for all types of things, including an open-world Avatar game, and TeaserPlay shows us in their latest fan concept trailer. We know that Avatar: The Way of Water has now grossed over $1.5-billion globally as of this weekend, so a game (or two) is definitely in the works for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S | X, and PC platforms.
As you’ve seen in the numerous trailers and featurettes, the sequel takes place approximately 15-years after the Na’vi stopped the human invasion of Pandora by the Resources Development Administration (RDA). Cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, and Joel David Moore reprise their roles from the original movie, so you can expect their voices in the future game as well.
