Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video, offer the most 4K content among major streaming services.
4K content used to be hard to come by on streaming services. Nowadays, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and others support 4K HDR and Dolby Vision. But which service has the most 4K content to actually watch?
That’s the key when it comes to choosing a streaming service. Bragging about having the most movies doesn’t matter much if few of them are actually worth watching. The same goes for talking about 4K support. Let’s find out which service has the most to offer.

4K Content by Service
Finding the exact number of 4K titles on each streaming service is not a simple task. None of the services provide detailed information about this, and it can be difficult to filter by video quality. However, we were able to get a rough idea of what the services have to offer.
We included Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount+, Peacock, Disney+, Hulu, and Apple TV+ in our research. Again, keep in mind that these numbers are not exact, and content is always coming and going from services. This includes movies and TV shows.
- Amazon Prime Video: 720+
- Netflix: 1140+
- HBO Max: 30+
- Paramount+: 160+
- Peacock: 15+
- Disney+: 800+
- Hulu: 115+
- Apple TV+: 80+
Netflix is the clear winner in sheer volume of 4K content to watch, but it does require the most expensive plan. Disney+ is a surprisingly good choice for 4K content. Prime Video comes in third place thanks having the biggest library of content overall. However, much of Amazon’s library is low-rated.
There are a lot of things to consider when it comes to choosing a streaming service. 4K support is important, but only if there’s stuff you will actually want to watch. Now go forth and stream in glorious ultra-high-definition.
