This is Not a Scene from Fast & Furious, Just a Honda Stuck as a Drawbridge Opens – TechEBlog

Honda Stuck Drawbridge Florida
Many have seen the scene in 2 Fast 2 Furious where cars appear to jump a drawbridge, but this Honda Accord just happened to in the wrong place at the not so ideal time. WPTV obtained footage that showed the vehicle stopping at the edge of the Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana and 30-seconds later, it begins to open with the driver still behind the wheel. Unfortunately, the wheels ended up getting stuck in the gap, making a getaway impossible. Read more for the CCTV footage and additional information.

However, the bridge did manage to push the Honda Accord forward over the gap, and the driver was able to get free after it lowered. The bridge operater stated that they did not see the vehicle until after they pressed the button to lower it. Unfortunately, the driver was not able to provide authorities with their side of the story, as they had already left once the cleared the bridge.
