Stimulus Checks payments have reached the Americans in three installments. The last round saw the IRS dispatch checks of $1400 to qualified individuals. The money was transferred to the bank accounts directly.

The receivers could also opt for paper checks. After the third Stimulus Check rollout, the government did not seem interested in further payment. This led to a sense of concern among the citizens. America is currently experiencing the threat of Omicron strain.

Covid cases have been on the rise for the past few weeks. This situation could probably call for another shutdown. The Americans are demanding their government to aid them in tough times.

Meanwhile, several states have decided to grant monetary checks to the residents. The federal government does not seem to provide any more assistance financially. The three stimulus checks were all they had to offer.

But there are still families out there struggling to find a living. The ill effects of the pandemic are still not properly dealt with.

Stimulus Check: No Good News Despite Vociferous Petitions

Stimulus Check petitions have been demanded for a long time. The online petition initiated by Stephanie Bonin has gathered huge popularity.

It asks the government to provide a monthly amount of $2000 for all American citizens. It also asks for a $1000 monthly payment for the children.

The petition has gathered over 3million signatures so far and is still going strong. The petition can be found at Change.org.

All these petitions could not make the federal government change its mind. They have stated clearly that there will be no more stimulus checks this year.

The only checks that are available are the plus-up payments from the third installment. Another $1400 check is available for the new parents that welcomed a baby in 2021.
