N-Power NEXIT: FG Announces Commencement of NEXIT Training For Batch A and B

NASIMS (NPOWER) has released a report announcing that the first batch of NEXIT training of the N-Power scheme will commence in February, 2022.

The NEXIT Portal is a platform created to facilitate the registration, selection and onboarding of exited N-Power batches A and B beneficiaries for the CBN Empowerment Programme, popularly called NEXIT package..

In a statement by Nneka Ikem Anibeze, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Sadiya Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, batches A and B N-Power beneficiaries are advised to check their eligibility and indicate availability before February 4.

The 1st batch of NEXIT Training will commence in February, 2022. Kindly dial *45665# on or before Friday 4th February to check your eligibility and indicate your availability to take part in the programme.

14 months after the launch of the N-Power NEXIT by Nigerian authorities and since their exit from the N-Power scheme in June and July 2020, this newspaper can authoritatively report that there is no single ex-beneficiary that has been placed into the any Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) intervention option — as promised.

NEXIT is a portal designed for the CBN empowerment programme for exited N-Power beneficiaries (batches A and B). It was launched in November 2020, but has not been effected despite hundreds of the erstwhile beneficiaries successfully completing registration. The next stage of the NEXIT had not been announced either – since 2020.

This newspaper understands that a huge number of N-Power batches A and B beneficiaries are presently back into the unemployment population of Nigeria since the decision of the FG to throw them out in June and July 2020.

Nigeria has one of the worst unemployment rate in Africa.

Unemployment in Africa’s largest economy surged to the second highest on a global list of countries monitored by Bloomberg. In 2020, the unemployment rate in the country was hat approximately 7.96 percent.

How do I Apply for N-Power NEXIT?

Follow these NEXIT registration steps to apply for the NEXIT Empowerment Package:

  1. Visit the NEXIT Portal at https://nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng.
  2. To make a new registration please go to Sign Up Here.
  3. Enter the email address used in your journey as an N-Power Beneficiary.
  4. Create and enter a new password for your registration access to the portal.

5. Repeat the same password to confirm it (please keep your passwords confidential).

6. Enter your first name as registered in your N-Power profile.

7. Enter your surname as registered in your N-Power profile.

8. Enter your BVN.

9. Agree to the terms and policy.

10. Submit your registration information with the submit button.

11. You will be redirected to an email activation page. Please re-enter your email address and click on the Resend Activation Mail button.

12. Go to your email address and click on the link sent to your mail to activate your account (if needed please check your email spam box).

13. Re-login into the NEXIT portal with your credentials with the Sign in button.

14. Complete the questionnaire by answering all questions and make your submission.
