Motors Attempt to Recreate Human Emotions, Creepiness Ensues – TechEBlog

Motor Robot Human Emotion
Engineered Arts’ Ameca moves like a human, but without hair, her emotions just seem a bit off. How does this compare to animatronics? Well, animatronics are essentially puppets controlled by people using remotes or other devices to tell them how to move, with some of the most famous being featured in the movies “Jaws”, “Gremlins”, and even Jabba the Hutt in the original Star Wars films. This robot attempts to replicate human emotions on its own, or so we think.
