At the 2023 CES, Hyper introduced a trio of new products made of recycled materials, including a high-speed USB 4 SSD enclosure, a USB 4 docking station, and a dual monitor travel dock.
Hyper is well known for its product lines that offer docking accessories for iPad and Mac, and the latest additions offer something new.
The company’s new docks are made from post-consumer-recycled (PCR) aluminum and plastics. They also have gen two specs, such as 140W Power Delivery 3.1 charging pass-through, 10Gb USB-C and USB-A, and SD4.0 ports.
Another new product, a USB 4 SSD enclosure, is also made from recycled aluminum and offers a toolless installation to make it easy to install the memory. Hyper claims it’s the world’s first USB 4 SSD enclosure capable of 3,800MB/s transfer speeds and can hold up to 8TB of memory.
Last in the sustainability category, Hyper will introduce its Sustainable Dual Monitor Universal Travel Dock. Ideal for desktop environments and travel, it has a USB graphics chip for universal dual monitor connectivity, 100W PD Passthrough, and is sustainably constructed with PCR plastics.
Hyper also plans to release a USB 4 eight-port Docking Station with an Intel chipset, 140W Power Delivery 3.1 passthrough charging, SD 4.0 ports, and support for dual monitor 4K 60hz displays.
