Smartphone case-maker Catalyst has announced the Essential Case for AirPods Pro 2 at Pepcom 2023, made of premium materials.
Also, for 2023, the Catalyst Total Protection Cases for the entire iPhone 14 product line are available, offering 360-degree protection.
Essential Case for AirPods Pro 2
Catalyst’s newest case provides a secure fit for the new AirPods Pro (2nd generation). Designed to survive drops of up to MIL-STD-810G four feet, it has a one-piece safe lid design that wraps around the case so it won’t open during drops.
The lanyard loop, speaker, and vent of the AirPods Pro are fully accessible with the case on. Users can attach their AirPods Pro to any handbag or backpack using the anti-drop lanyard, which has been pull-tested to 10kg for extra security.
Users can hear sound from the charging case clearly, and the high-frequency sound transmitted by the Play Sound feature is also clearly audible through the case. In addition, it’s fully compatible with wireless charging mats and power stations.
The Essential Case for AirPods Pro 2 is available for $29.99 in Glacial Blue and Ink colors.
Total Protection Case for iPhone
The Catalyst Total Protection Case for the iPhone 14 Series seals out water, dust, dirt, and germs and is cleanable with many disinfectants approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
It has an IP68 rating for water resistance up to 33 feet, and it’s rated MIL-STD-810G to survive drops up to 6.6 feet. The built-in screen protector lies flat and does not bubble up, ensuring the touch screen is highly responsive. It also does not interfere with Face ID.
Using patented technology, Catalyst optimized the case for noise cancellation so the microphone works clearly without interference from background noise. In addition, a complimentary lanyard helps users avoid accidental drops.
Available in Stealth Black, shoppers can purchase the Total Protection Case for $89.99.
