LG is set to debut new 27″ and 45″ gaming OLED displays with 0.03ms response time as well as a 240Hz refresh rate at CES 2023 next week. This announcement comes after they released their LG OLED Flex bendable monitor back in October. These new displays take full advantage of OLED’s self-emissive pixels to deliver immersive gaming experiences courtesy of rich, vibrant and crisp images on top of their high performance.
The two OLEDs reduce external light reflections by applying a special polarizer designed for gaming, enabling the display to achieve perfect black under any environment, while adding depth to the image quality and delivering an accurate color depiction. Just like the OLED Flex, these gaming displays also bend up to 800R, or a curvature radius of 800mm, allowing users to experience the optimal curve for every genre of content. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
