Copado Inc., a low-code DevOps solution provider for Salesforce, today announced the launch of the DevOps Exchange, a marketplace for prebuilt software-as-a-service solutions that extend the company’s platform for continuous software integration and delivery.

As software development and operations, teams face more complex workflows and tasks and the need to ship features faster than ever has meant that automated solutions for continuous development, testing and deployment have become the norm. DevOps is a set of practices and tools that combines development and operations to shorten the development to deployment lifecycle in order to get features to market as fast as possible.

As a result, many companies are looking for ways to consolidate the tools that allow them to operate their DevOps activities and Copado is offering that with prebuilt solutions on its newly launched Exchange marketplace.

“Just as AppExchange became the leading marketplace for Salesforce apps, Copado is advancing the DevOps market for enterprise SaaS by offering an extensible platform supported by solutions from our partners and community members,” said David Brooks, senior vice president of product strategy at Copado.

The DevOps Exchange is launching with more than 40 initial listings and will allow enterprise users to take advantage of a global network of prebuilt self-service solutions that have been implemented by organizations to solve real-world challenges. The apps on the marketplace have been built by highly skilled DevOps experts representing numerous integrations, data templates and add-ons that extend Copado’s platform that are designed to give organizations a head start in tackling their specific needs.

“With the solutions found in DevOps Exchange, development teams can deliver continuous innovation with speed and quality even for the most complex enterprise IT environments where an end-to-end business process spans multiple clouds,” said Brooks. “The DevOps Exchange can unlock an organization’s potential to automate anything in the software delivery lifecycle.”

Solutions on the DevOps Exchange were developed by a large number of expert sources including community members, Copado partners and in-house developers at Copado Labs who extend the company’s platform.

Examples include the Copado Monitoring Center, which alerts customers when unauthorized metadata changes happen. Partner solutions include a free template for implementing Marketing Cloud in Salesforce from Accenture and an offering from DigitSec that runs automated security scans during the software delivery process.
