Stephan Winkelmann, the chief govt of legendary Italian supercar producer Lamborghini, has advised reporters that the corporate is about to desert its plans for an all-electric supercar resulting from weak demand from its buyer base.

Revealed in 2023, the Lanzador idea was scheduled to spawn an all-electric manufacturing mannequin that was set to go on sale in 2028. The unique 2+2 ‘ultra-GT’ was speculated to function two e-motors, one on every axle, which mixed to provide “over a megawatt of energy”, which is round 1,350bhp.
