A four-part documentary called “They Call Me Magic” about Earvin “Magic” Johnson is coming to Apple TV+<\/a> on April 22. <\/p>\n

“They Call Me Magic” examines the real-life story of Johnson, who is known for his accomplishments in basketball and his battle with HIV. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and NBA legend has transformed into a successful entrepreneur and community activist, and this docuseries takes an intimate look at this journey. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The docuseries is filled with interviews with Johnson himself, his family, and an all-star lineup. Apple calls it a rare glimpse into the incredible real-life story of Johnson who continues to impact our culture today. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Rick Famuyiwa directs with Bryn Mooser, Rafael Marmor, Christina Arquette, John Terzian, and Jeremy Allen acting as executive producers. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
