Unfortunately, only a handful of dorky drivers will take the time to learn these new features. That\u2019s why Ford hopes to \u201cgameify\u201d the new car experience with an educational <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Q9m6AO-xMpY\">escape room game<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/media.ford.com\/content\/fordmedia\/feu\/en\/news\/2022\/01\/27\/ford-gamifies-its-mustang-mach-e-with-an-escape-room-concept-tha.html\">Ford of Europe<\/a>, the\u00a0<em>Escape Car<\/em> game concept gently pushes Mustang Mach-E drivers to learn about their car.\u00a0<em>Escape Car<\/em> might ask you to turn on your headlights or activate your seat warmers to communicate with in-game \u201cspies,\u201d for example.<\/p>\n<p>\t<lite-youtube videoid=\"Q9m6AO-xMpY\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/Q9m6AO-xMpY\/hqdefault.jpg');\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"lty-playbtn\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"lyt-visually-hidden\">Play Video<\/span><br \/>\n<\/button>\n<\/lite-youtube><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Ford believes that\u00a0<em>Escape Car<\/em> could teach young people safe driving skills. In a video demonstrating the concept,\u00a0<em>Escape Car<\/em> asks a driver to head toward a destination and warns that speeding may hurt their chances of winning. It\u2019s easy to see how this game could teach beginners\u2019 driving skills, like parallel parking or maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Ford also notes that the game could entertain passengers or keep people happy while their car charges. And just to be clear, you can leave your car at any time while playing\u00a0<em>Escape Car<\/em>. It\u2019s not a \u201creal\u201d escape room game.<\/p>\n<p><em>Escape Car<\/em> is still just a concept, though Ford is clearly searching for a fun way to bring its customers up to speed with new vehicle technology.
