\u2026said nobody, ever.<\/p>\n

I talked to a lady earlier who\u2019s spent two years getting certified to be a life coach.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

She\u2019s now \u201cready\u201d to start blogging, podcasting and showing the world her chops.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s just itemise some problems with that approach \u2013\u00a0the idea of only giving yourself permission to start work once your \u201cstudies\u201d are complete:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. There is no coaching qualification I\u2019m aware of that teaches you how identify, attract and engage with your ideal clients<\/li>\n
  2. The hardest part of being a coach is finding people who will pay you to coach them<\/li>\n
  3. Being highly skilled at coaching NOBODY doesn\u2019t achieve anything for you, or the wider world<\/li>\n
  4. Generally, getting coaching qualifications costs money which you could otherwise have spent on learning how to find clients<\/li>\n
  5. It also costs time (way more valuable than money) which you could have spent learning client attraction<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Look, I get it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • You need to feel confident in being able to deliver results<\/li>\n
    • You don\u2019t want to be stumped for an answer<\/li>\n
    • You have to come over like you know what you\u2019re talking about<\/li>\n
    • You need to project an air of authority<\/li>\n
    • You have to actually\u00a0get<\/strong>\u00a0results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      I get all of that.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      But here\u2019s the good news:<\/p>\n

      You\u2019ve already got it.<\/p>\n

      It\u2019s who you are.<\/p>\n

      Now go out and find someone who\u2019ll pay you to talk to them.<\/strong><\/p>\n
