Instead, it\u2019s to make people feel connected, interested, understood, and valued. In other words, we need to learn what\u2019s most important to the buyer and help them obtain or achieve that. In this way, we\u2019re influencing, rather than persuading.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not about getting what<em> we <\/em>want. It\u2019s about helping people get what\u2019s important to them.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Selling is helping.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s guest is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/realandypaul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Andy Paul<\/strong><\/a>. Andy is a three-time author, most recently of the forthcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Sell-Without-Selling-Out-Success\/dp\/1989603572\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Sell Without Selling Out<\/em><\/a> (to be released 02\/22\/2022).
