About 64% stated that they do not have the time or resources to implement an effective process, while 52% still don\u2019t have a standard operating procedure for marketing and sales teams to keep data up to date.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany marketers realize that they cannot tackle these challenges alone and are partnering with outside vendors to help break down data silos, enrich existing buyer insights and keep their contact database up to date,\u201d researchers stated in the report.<\/p>\n<h2>Using Customer Data to Achieve Marketing Goals<\/h2>\n<p>As marketers\u2019 reliance on customer data continues to grow, previous research has already suggested that they will need to refine their data-driven strategies if they want to see more return-on-investment.<\/p>\n<p>Ascend2 <a href=\"https:\/\/komarketing.com\/industry-news\/54-of-marketers-only-somewhat-satisfied-with-ability-to-leverage-data-4436\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conducted<\/a> the \u201cData-Driven Marketing Report,\u201d and statistics indicated that the majority of marketers are only \u201csomewhat satisfied\u201d with their team\u2019s ability to make effective decisions based on customer data.
