To let people join your Zoom meetings<\/a>, you\u2019re going to have to send out meeting invites. You can do this before your scheduled meetings and even during a meeting. We\u2019ll show you how.<\/p>\n

Send a Zoom Invite for a Scheduled Meeting<\/h2>\n

If your meeting is already scheduled<\/a>, and you would like to send out invites for it, here\u2019s how to do that.<\/p>\n

Send an Invite on Desktop<\/h3>\n

To send a meeting invite from your desktop computer, first, launch the Zoom app.<\/p>\n

At the top of the Zoom window, click \u201cMeetings.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the \u201cMeetings\u201d page, you will see all your scheduled meetings. Here, click the meeting you want to invite people to.<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

On the right pane, your meeting\u2019s details will appear. Here, to copy the text that describes how to join your meeting (the meeting invitation), click the \u201cCopy Invitation\u201d button.<\/p>\n

To view the meeting invitation text before sending it, click the \u201cShow Meeting Invitation\u201d option. In the screenshot below, it says \u201cHide Meeting Invitation\u201d because we have already clicked the option.<\/p>\n

Now that your invitation is copied to your clipboard, use an email, instant messenger, or whatever service you prefer to send invites. With this text invitation, your recipient will have all the details they need to join your meeting.<\/p>\n

Send an Invite on Mobile<\/h3>\n

To send out invites from a mobile phone, launch the Zoom app on your phone. In the bottom bar of the app, tap \u201cMeetings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Tap<\/p>\n

On the \u201cMeetings\u201d page, select the meeting you want to invite people to.<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

A \u201cMeeting Details\u201d page will open. Tap the \u201cInvite\u201d button.<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

You will now see an \u201cAdd Invitees Via\u201d menu. In this menu, select the app you want to use to send your invitation. To copy the invitation text to your clipboard, then tap \u201cCopy to Clipboard\u201d in the menu.<\/p>\n

Send over your copied invitation however you want, and your recipient will be able to attend your meeting.<\/p>\n

Send a Zoom Invite for an Ongoing Meeting<\/h2>\n

Even if your Zoom meeting<\/a> has already started, you can send invites and allow people to join it.<\/p>\n

Send an Invite on Desktop<\/h3>\n

To invite someone to an ongoing meeting from your desktop, in Zoom\u2019s bottom bar, click \u201cParticipants.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the bottom of the \u201cParticipants\u201d panel that opens, click \u201cInvite.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

You will see an \u201cInvite\u201d window. Here, to invite someone who is in your contacts list, click the \u201cContacts\u201d tab at the top. Then type the user\u2019s name and select them.<\/p>\n

To send the invitation via email, click the \u201cEmail\u201d tab. Then select your email provider. When you click a provider, Zoom opens that email\u2019s site, composes a new email, and automatically pastes your meeting invitation. You can then define the recipients and send your invitation.<\/p>\n

To copy a link to your meeting that a user can click to join the meeting, click the \u201cCopy Invite Link\u201d button in the lower-left corner of the \u201cInvite\u201d window. To copy the entire invitation message, click \u201cCopy Invitation\u201d instead.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it.<\/p>\n

Send an Invite on Mobile<\/h3>\n

To invite someone to a running meeting from your phone, then at the bottom of the meeting screen in Zoom, tap \u201cParticipants.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Tap<\/p>\n

On the \u201cParticipants\u201d screen, in the lower-left corner, tap \u201cInvite.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

In the \u201cInvite\u201d menu, select the app you want to use to invite people to your meeting. To copy the invitation link and manually send it to someone, tap \u201cCopy Invite Link.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

Your recipient can click the link to attend your meeting.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s how you add people to your Zoom meetings by sending invitation messages!<\/p>\n\n
