What to Know When Changing Your eBay Username<\/h2>\n

When you change your username<\/a>, eBay shows your new username across its entire platform. Your account information and feedback<\/a> score are transferred to your new name.<\/p>\n

When you compose a new username, make sure it has at least six characters. It can include letters, numbers, and some symbols. However, you can\u2019t add a space or any of the following characters in your username: @, &, \u2018, (, ), <, ><\/p>\n

Also, note that you can only change your eBay username once every 30 days.<\/p>\n

Update Your eBay Username<\/h2>\n

To start the username change process, open a web browser on your device and launch the eBay<\/a> site. On the site, sign in to your account.<\/p>\n

In eBay\u2019s top-left corner, hover your cursor over your name. Then, in the menu that opens, click \u201cAccount Settings.\u201d<\/p>\n

A \u201cMy eBay\u201d page will open. Here, in the \u201cPersonal Info\u201d section, click \u201cPersonal Information.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the \u201cPersonal Info\u201d page, next to \u201cUsername,\u201d click \u201cEdit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Your \u201cUsername\u201d field is now editable. Click this field, type the new username of your choice, and then click \u201cSave.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s all there is to it. Your eBay username is now changed, and this new name will be used from now onwards.<\/p>\n\n
