Founded by\u00a0Nnamdi Azikiwe\u00a0in 1955 and formally opened on 7 October 1960, the University of Nigeria has three campuses in Enugu State \u2013 Nsukka, Enugu, and Ituku-Ozalla \u2013\u00a0and the Aba campus in\u00a0Abia State.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Nigeria is the first full-fledged indigenous and first autonomous university in Nigeria, modelled upon the American educational system. responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day financial administration and control of University finances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates for this post must possess a good honours Degree in Accountancy from a recognized University as well as professionally recognized accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA or ANAN plus a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience in a University, where he\/she must have served at the level of Deputy Bursar for not less than 5 years.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should also be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant and have a working knowledge of a good accounting package.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should not be above 60 years at the time of assumption of office and should be within the retirement age at the expiration of his\/her tenure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Condition of
