Apple is opening up a number of its Apple Stores in the UK to walk-in customers, by dropping a requirement to attend a session with a reservation. <\/p>\n

Since the introduction of “Plan B” measures by the UK government in December to counter a rise in Omicron variant COVID-19<\/a> infections, Apple limited access to its stores only to customers with an appointment. Apple is now starting to open the stores back up to passing trade. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Friday night, Apple updated its store listings for 17 Apple Stores in the UK to indicate they are able to take walk-in customers once again. While the roll-out is expected to include 38 stores, only 17 are currently indicating walk-in customers are welcome to visit, reports<\/a> iMore<\/em>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The stores that no longer require appointments to visit are: <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  • Bath<\/li>\n
  • Brent Cross<\/li>\n
  • Bromley The Glades<\/li>\n
  • Brighton<\/li>\n
  • Bristol Cribbs Causeway<\/li>\n
  • Kent Bluewater<\/li>\n
  • Lakeside (Essex)<\/li>\n
  • Liverpool<\/li>\n
  • London Covent Garden<\/li>\n
  • London Regent Street<\/li>\n
  • Plymouth<\/li>\n
  • Reading<\/li>\n
  • Stratford<\/li>\n
  • Southampton<\/li>\n
  • White City<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    The remaining 21 stores will still require an appointment to attend, and will not accept walk-in customers for the moment. All of the stores are based in England, with all four stores in Scotland and the sole Wales outlet in the appointment-only group. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    It is likely that Apple will expand the policy to cover the remaining stores in the coming weeks, pandemic depending. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
