If you use Discord<\/a> on a shared device, or if you\u2019d just like to use a different account in the app<\/a>, you will have to log out of Discord on your device first. We\u2019ll show you how to do just that on your desktop and mobile.<\/p>\n

Sign Out of Discord on Desktop and Web<\/h2>\n

Both Discord on the web and the Discord desktop app use the same interface, so you will also use the same steps to log out of your account.<\/p>\n

Start by launching Discord on your computer. In Discord\u2019s bottom-left corner, next to your username, click \u201cUser Settings\u201d (a gear icon).<\/p>\n

On the page that opens, from the sidebar on the left, select \u201cLog Out.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the \u201cLog Out\u201d prompt, click \u201cLog Out.\u201d<\/p>\n

And you are successfully signed out from your account in Discord. You may now sign in with a different account, or just leave the app as is.<\/p>\n

Sign Out of Discord on Mobile<\/h2>\n

To log out of Discord on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone, first, launch the Discord app on your phone.<\/p>\n

In Discord\u2019s top-left corner, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).<\/p>\n

In the bottom bar of the app, tap your profile icon.<\/p>\n

A \u201cUser Settings\u201d page will open. Here, next to the page title at the top, tap the \u201cSign Out\u201d option (the icon of an arrow in a box).<\/p>\n

You will see a \u201cLog Out\u201d prompt. Tap \u201cLog Out.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s it. You are now signed out of your account in the Discord app on your phone. To log back in, simply open the app and enter your username and password.<\/p>\n\n
