Godzilla and the Titans are coming to Apple TV+<\/a> in a new show that\u2019ll look to capitalize on the popularity of the recently-released Godzilla <\/em>film. If you\u2019re a fan of the\u00a0MonsterVerse, this show will be one to keep an eye on.<\/p>\n

In a press release<\/a>, Apple talked about some of the big names creating the new untitled Godzilla show. \u201cThe untitled Monsterverse series will be produced by Legendary Television and executive produced by co-creators Chris Black (Star Trek: Enterprise<\/a>, Outcast<\/em>), who will also serve as showrunner, and Matt Fraction (Hawkeye<\/em>), alongside Safehouse Pictures\u2019 Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell, and Toho Co., Ltd. Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita will executive produce for Toho,\u201d said Apple.<\/p>\n

Apple continued, \u201cLegendary\u2019s\u00a0Monsterverse is an expansive story universe of multi-layered experiences centering around humanity\u2019s battle to survive in a world that is under siege by a catastrophic new reality\u2014the monsters of our myths and legends are real.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show will pick up the story where Kong: Skull Island<\/em> and Godzilla<\/em><\/a> left off, so if you haven\u2019t had a chance to check out those films, you might want to give them a watch before you watch the new show.<\/p>\n

Outside of Godzilla, the show will feature other members of the\u00a0MonsterVerse, also known as the Titans, though Apple didn\u2019t specify which others would appear. We\u2019d hope to see names like King Kong, Mothra,\u00a0Rodan,\u00a0Scylla, and\u00a0Mechagodzilla, but we\u2019ll have to wait and see which awesome monsters they choose to feature.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Apple didn\u2019t announce when the show would begin production or when we can expect to see it hit the company\u2019s streaming service.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
