ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — <\/span>New Mexico\u2019s governor has stepped into the battle over how federal land managers are eradicating wild cows within the Gila Wilderness. <\/p>\n

Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham issued an announcement Friday saying she was disenchanted by what she described because the U.S. Forest Service\u2019s lack of significant, long-term engagement with stakeholders on a controversial subject.<\/p>\n
