The team blue boss recently posted a video looking back at the last 11 months he\u2019s spent at the head of the company, including the launch of Alder Lake, which he says has left AMD \u201cin the rearview mirror.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Gelsinger\u2019s LinkedIn video lists 11 Intel highlights across last year while also looking to the future. Eleven is both the number of years he was away from the company (Gelsinger left in September 2009 to become EMC\u2019s CEO\/president) and the number of months he\u2019s been back.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"529\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:ugcPost:6884948095449362433\" title=\"Embedded post\" width=\"504\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A lot of Gelsinger\u2019s top 11 consists of the general fluff one expects from CEOs. The 12th-gen chips have been some of Intel\u2019s best-received CPUs in years, earning excellent reviews from critics and consumers alike, and their release coincided with AMD losing ground in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techspot.com\/news\/92845-december-steam-survey-amd-loses-ground-intel-first.html\">Steam Survey<\/a> for the first time in months. CEO Lisa Su announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techspot.com\/news\/92835-amd-ces-2022-roadmap-zen-4-am5-ryzen.html\">Ryzen 7 5800X3D<\/a> at CES, which the company calls the number one gaming CPU. Su also teased the Zen 4 architecture set to drop later this year.
