Intel has shut down its RISC-V Pathfinder \u2013 an initiative it launched lower than six months in the past to encourage use of the open supply RISC-V CPU designs.<\/p>\n

Pathfinder was launched in August 2022. A joint press release<\/a> from the thirtieth of that month features a canned quote from Vijay Krishnan, basic supervisor for RISC-V Ventures at Intel Company, who on the time acknowledged: “With Intel Pathfinder, customers will have the ability to take a look at drive pre-silicon ideas on Intel FPGAs or digital simulators.”<\/p>\n

“There must be great worth for pre-silicon architects, software program builders and product managers trying to show out use instances upfront within the product growth lifecycle,” he added.<\/p>\n
