I\u2019ve been fascinated by the best way we set sort since I did my first packaging forty years in the past. It\u2019s a mixture of tech, artwork, techniques, tradition and most of all, deciding to place within the effort to get it proper.<\/p>\n[This is a long post, it would have been a podcast, but it doesn\u2019t really lend itself to audio.]\n

When airplanes first began flying passengers, there was a necessity for labels. Labels for passengers and pilots. WEAR SEATBELT WHEN SEATED. Why is it in all caps? My guess is that on the daybreak of aviation, the machine that made the little steel indicators solely had the capability to simply deal with 26 letters, they usually select all caps. Definitely, over time the labeling tech acquired higher, however we caught with all caps as a result of that\u2019s what airplane indicators are supposed<\/em> to be like, though they\u2019re tougher to learn that approach.<\/p>\n

Typography is a sign not only a technique to put letters on a web page.<\/p>\n
