If your work position, company, or any other details that you display in your email signature has changed, you will want to change your signature in your Gmail account<\/a> to reflect that. It\u2019s easy to do so and we\u2019ll show you how.<\/p>\n

In Gmail, you can update your current signature to add or remove details from it. If you need more than one signature, you can create and save multiple email signatures<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also worth nothing that Gmail uses a different signature on each device. This means you will have to change the signature on each device you compose emails on individually.<\/p>\n

Change Your Gmail Signature on Desktop<\/h2>\n

To update your email signature on Gmail on your desktop, use the Gmail site.<\/p>\n

Start by opening your favorite web browser and launching the Gmail<\/a> site. Sign in to your account on the site.<\/p>\n

In Gmail\u2019s top-right corner, click \u201cSettings\u201d (a gear icon).<\/p>\n

In the menu that expands, click \u201cSee All Settings.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the \u201cSettings\u201d page, in the \u201cGeneral\u201d tab, scroll down to the \u201cSignature\u201d section. Here, click the signature you want to change.<\/p>\n

In the pane to the right of your signature, you will see the current signature content. Click this box and edit the contents of your signature. There are various formatting options to use, which are found at the bottom of the signature box.<\/p>\n

These formatting options include text styles like bold, italic, and underline. It also has an option to add a link to your text<\/a>. You can even insert an image in your signature if you want.<\/p>\n

When you are happy with the changed signature, scroll down the page to the bottom and click \u201cSave Changes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Change Your Gmail Signature on Android<\/h2>\n

To modify your email signature in Gmail on Android, first, launch the Gmail app on your phone.<\/p>\n

In the Gmail app, at the top-left corner, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).<\/p>\n

From the menu that opens, select \u201cSettings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

On the \u201cSettings\u201d page, choose the account in which you want to change your signature.<\/p>\n

On the account page, scroll down and tap \u201cMobile Signature.\u201d<\/p>\n

A \u201cSignature\u201d box will open. Here, type the new signature you want to use in Gmail on your phone. Then tap \u201cOK.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s it. Your signature in the Gmail app on your Android phone is now changed.<\/p>\n

Change Your Gmail Signature on iPhone or iPad<\/h2>\n

To make changes to your Gmail signature on an iPhone or iPad, first, open the Gmail app on your phone.<\/p>\n

In Gmail\u2019s top-left corner, tap the three horizontal lines.<\/p>\n

In the menu that opens, tap \u201cSettings.\u201d<\/p>\n
