AVA Labs, the developers behind Avalanche blockchain platform<\/a>, announced a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Avalanche is an open-source blockchain platform that integrates smart contracts and decentralized databases. According to AVA Labs, Avalanche has already been adopted by several enterprises including Bitmain Technologies and Binance cryptocurrency<\/a> exchange.<\/p>\n

The Avalanche blockchain platform has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to an official blog post published on Tuesday. The collaboration will allow users to run their own Avalanche node and join the network with a single click, according to an official blog post.<\/p>\n

Ava Labs Forms New Partnerhip<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Launched in May 2020 by Cornell Professor Emin G\u00fcn Sirer, Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications that aims to offer fast and secure transactions. At launch, the project offered its users two types of nodes \u2014 validators and full nodes \u2014 which required deploying a server and synchronizing the Avalanche protocol before joining the network. With this new partnership, AWS customers can now start using Avalanche by using the AWS Marketplace to deploy their own node, as per Tuesday\u2019s announcement.<\/p>\n

At launch, the project offered its users two types of nodes \u2014 validators and full nodes \u2014 which required deploying a server and synchronizing the Avalanche protocol before joining the network. The process was not straightforward and could be a deterrent to those who did not have prior experience running similar networks.<\/p>\n

The project has since removed this requirement by partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS), allowing users to deploy an AWS-hosted node in just one click.<\/p>\n

While this is undoubtedly good news for early adopters interested in running their own Avalanche nodes, it does raise concerns about centralization of power within the network itself due to its reliance on AWS for hosting purposes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
