However, you won\u2019t be able to create or edit ETAs after the January 31 deadline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will be no surprise if you\u2019re running your Microsoft Search campaigns in tandem with Google Search campaigns. Google was the first to officially sunset ETAs on June 30, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What To Expect From Microsoft Ads In 2023<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of their January product update, Microsoft teased a few highlights of what\u2019s to come in the following year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the official announcement, it seems that Microsoft will continue to differentiate its ad platform from Google by focusing on the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Local Search ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marquee ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additional vertical ads<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re unfamiliar with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.searchenginejournal.com\/microsoft-advertising-announces-september-product-releases-updates\/418799\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vertical ads<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Microsoft Ads, they officially debuted in September 2021.
