It\u2019s been a difficult year for the Saget family, who lost their beloved patriarch to cancer last July. But John Stamos is doing his best<\/a> to keep Bob Saget\u2019s memory alive by posting photos and videos of the two of them on social media.<\/p>\n

In the photo, Stamos can be seen leaning against Saget\u2019s shoulder. He captioned the image: \u201cOne year since you left us. I miss you so much, Uncle Bob. Thank you for being such a big part of my life and always being there when I needed you most\u2026.. My rock, my brother, my mentor\u2026. Will love you always and forever\u2026. until we meet again..\u201d<\/p>\n

The two were close friends for decades before Saget\u2019s death in January 2022 at age 65 from a head injury. He had kept his diagnosis private during his hospitalization last summer but wrote in a statement to People at the time that he was \u201cnot afraid of dying.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Stamos Reminisces Bob Saget<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Stamos first met Saget 15 years ago while they were both working on Full House reboot Fuller House \u2014 which Stamos executive produces \u2014 and they quickly became close friends beyond the show set.<\/p>\n

Saget was a comedian and actor<\/a> who was best known for his role as Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House, which ran from 1987 to 1995. He also appeared in other TV shows such as The Comeback Kid, That \u201970s Show, and Sons of Anarchy. Saget died at the age of 65. At the time of his death, many people were shocked by how quickly it had happened; Stamos described Saget\u2019s condition as \u201chorrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saget was born in New York City, New York on May 17th 1952 and began his career as an actor by appearing on several television shows including The Love Boat and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Later he got his big break when he landed a role on Full House alongside John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Candace Cameron Bure.<\/p>\n

During this time Bob Saget became known as Uncle Jesse until he left after season 8 of the show when he decided it was time to move onto new things like standup comedy tours where he performed at clubs all around America before returning as guest stars every now and then when they needed him back again<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
