Google\u2019s new Pixel Watch is getting another update, although it doesn\u2019t seem like there are many major changes in this one.<\/p>\n

As spotted by\u00a0Android Police<\/em><\/a>, Pixel Watch firmware build RWD9.220429.073 is rolling out but doesn\u2019t appear to include any new features. Google\u2019s official release notes<\/a> detail one user-facing change: \u201cFix to address 3rd party watch faces turning off after 15 mins with always on display (AOD) enabled.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, that means the update doesn\u2019t enable anticipated features like fall detection, which already started appearing for a small number of users earlier this month<\/a>. Google promised the fall detection feature would come this winter, so there\u2019s still time for it to arrive.<\/p>\n

Google notes the update will roll out \u201cover the next week in phases depending on carrier and device,\u201d so don\u2019t fret if the update doesn\u2019t appear immediately. Keep an eye out for a notification to appear on your Pixel Watch once the update becomes available. Alternatively, you can try and force the update by heading to Settings > System > System updates and tapping on the \u2018Your watch is up to date\u2019 screen.<\/p>\n

Android Police\u00a0<\/em>notes this is the second consecutive monthly update for the Pixel Watch since it was released last year.<\/p>\n
