On January 10, Prince Harry\u2019s much-awaited autobiography \u201cSpare\u201d will be available. However, before it is published, Page Six was able to read a portion of the memoir that contains some alarming admissions made by the Duke of Sussex. In one such admission, Prince Harry said that Prince William and Kate Middleton were to blame for his choice to attend a costume party in January<\/a> 2005 while dressed as a Nazi. He said that Princess Kate and his elder brother had urged him to dress like a Nazi soldier, a choice he now describes as \u201cone of the worst blunders of my life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales allegedly \u201chowled with amusement\u201d when they spotted the Duke of Sussex dressed up for the 2005 celebration, according to the Duke<\/a> of Sussex. According to a paragraph from the biography, Harry debated between dressing as a Nazi or a pilot for the Native and Colonial-themed party in London. To get their perspectives, he then contacted his brother and Princess Kate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prince Harry was only 20 at the time. After the British tabloid \u201cThe Sun\u201d published a front-page photo of him costumed as a Nazi soldier with a red armband bearing a large swastika, the outfit caused widespread controversy. The Duke of Sussex has spoken out about the matter before. The provocative costume was addressed in the \u201cHarry & Meghan\u201d docuseries, which had its Netflix debut in December 2022. Prince Harry expressed extreme regret for wearing it.<\/span><\/p>\n
