It features three rows of seats, a futuristic style, and is intended to be the company\u2019s flagship EV SUV.<\/p>\n<p>However, the EV9 isn\u2019t Kia\u2019s first electric SUV. Last year the company introduced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/105764\/kia-confirms-ev6s-impressive-epa-range-ahead-of-u-s-release\/\">EV6<\/a>, an electric compact SUV crossover. And it has been a massive success for Kia, <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/12\/01\/hyundai-kia-record-november-us-sales-led-by-rising-ev-demand\/\">selling record numbers<\/a> for the company in November. The EV6 also won multiple awards, including 2022 European Car of the Year, 2022 Irish Car of the Year, <em>What Car?<\/em> Car of the Year, and <em>TopGear.com<\/em>\u00a0Crossover of the Year, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The EV9 is expected to be a significant milestone for Kia\u2019s EV offerings. Since its premiere in 2021, Kia has released more details about the model, including its five-second 0 to 100km\/h acceleration time and 336-mile battery range. Kia\u2019s stated goal is to sell 1.2 million electric vehicles by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>When it hits the market, the EV9 will join the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reviewgeek.com\/122621\/rivian-r1s-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-electric-suv\/\">Rivian R1S<\/a> in the EV SUV market.
