MagSafe didn’t just allow for more precise charger placement, it opened up whole new categories of add-ons. Here are the best MagSafe accessories you can purchase for your iPhone<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“Any MagSafe<\/a> accessory can simply snap onto the back of iPhone,” said Deniz Teoman, vice president of Hardware System Engineering at Apple, during their October 2020 event. “We’re enabling a whole new ecosystem for MagSafe.” <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Here are the best MagSafe accessories that you can partner with your iPhone 14. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

MagSafe Battery Pack<\/h2>\n

Previous to the introduction of the MagSafe, Apple would release cases with charging packs incorporated in them. With the introduction of MagSafe to the iPhone 12<\/a> series, the case transitioned to just the battery pack magnetically connecting to the back of your phone. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The MagSafe Battery Pack<\/a> supplies a safe and reliable charge via wireless charging. Your phone will automatically charge without having to turn the battery pack on or off. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You charge the battery pack the same way you would your iPhone \u2014 through a Lightning charging cable \u2014 but if you attach it to your iPhone and then plug it in simultaneously, both the battery pack and device will charge at the same time. This allows you to multitask with charging. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A 15w charging brick is recommended, but if you use a 20w charging brick or higher, both will charge faster. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest software to be able to utilize charging speeds at 7.5w speeds. MagSafe PopSocket<\/h2>\n

With the original PopSockets, you would attach them to your iPhone or case via an adhesive tape on it, and it would secure a tight seal between the two. This was a creative way to add a kickstand to the back of your phone or be able to hold it more comfortably with one hand due to the pop-out design. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The problem with them is that \u2014 once you installed the PopSocket \u2014 it was very hard to take off. You weren’t able to reuse them after installing them. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The incorporation of MagSafe into PopSockets eliminates that problem and allows you to be more versatile with them. Instead of attaching to your phone or case via adhesive tape, they attach via magnets. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The old design took away the ability to enjoy the ease of wireless charging, but with the MagSafe design, you can just take the PopSocket off and then put it back on when you’re phone is fully charged. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
