It\u2019s crazy to think that\u00a0The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt\u00a0<\/em>came out over seven years ago. At the time, I\u2019d recently been laid off (RIP Future Shop) and jumped at the chance to lose myself in an expansive open-world. And boy, did it deliver, becoming one of my favourite games of all time.<\/p>\n

Now, developer CD Projekt Red has given the last-gen RPG a fresh coat of paint on PS5 and Xbox Series X\/S via a free update to Wild Hunt<\/em>\u2018s Complete Edition<\/em>. It couldn\u2019t have come at a better time, too \u2014 as one of many people who felt burned by the studio\u2019s mishandling of its most recent game, Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>, there\u2019s a lovely comfort in revisiting something so beloved, especially with a bevy of current-gen enhancements and bug fixes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And after nearly 200 hours across the main game and its\u00a0Hearts of Stone\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Blood and Wine<\/em> expansions (which are all included in the Complete Edition<\/em>), the update has me finding even more enjoyment with the whole experience.<\/p>\n
