There\u2019s now an official page to answer the question: \u201cIs Google down right now?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Google is rolling out a search status dashboard that will inform you, in real-time, whether there\u2019s an issue with crawling, indexing, or serving search results.<\/p>\n

Previously, Google\u2019s Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) informed searchers about outages via the Google Search Central Twitter account.<\/p>\n

Now, Google will use the Search Status Dashboard<\/a> to communicate the status of its search engine.<\/p>\n

Is Google Down Right Now?<\/h2>\n

At the time of this writing, Google is up and running.<\/p>\n

I know that because I\u2019m looking at Google\u2019s Search Status dashboard, which displays green checkmarks to communicate all three services (crawling, indexing, and serving) are available.<\/p>\n
