If there is cynicism \u2013 scepticism even \u2013 about coaching it\u2019s because it doesn\u2019t always work, and people talk loudly when it doesn\u2019t.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some \u201ccoaches\u201d \u2013 and they don\u2019t always use that title \u2013 are way better marketers than they are practitioners.<\/p>\n

All sizzle and no sausage.<\/strong>
The ones who get the profession a bad name.<\/p>\n

Snake oil vendors.<\/strong>
The ones who draw you in with extravagant promises, wrapped in irresistible prose that has you smitten from hello.<\/p>\n

Tick-tock.<\/strong>
The ones who always seem to have a countdown timer clicking towards zero on their sales page.<\/p>\n

Fakers.<\/strong>
The ones who make unbelievable claims about their revenue, although you\u2019re often moved to believe them.<\/p>\n

Elitrepreneurs.<\/strong>
The ones who lure you with their 7-figure income strategies that don\u2019t work at all when you\u2019re still 4 or 5.<\/p>\n

Out of touch, they are.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe higher the monkey climbs the tree, the more of its arse you get to see.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

That\u2019s a lovely line from my old pal Jonny Bowden which kind of fits nicely here.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t trust the gooroos with your money, it says.<\/p>\n

In fact, don\u2019t trust anyone except their satisfied customers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And of course, let\u2019s work to elevate revenue and impact in your own business, and across the profession.<\/p>\n

Stop the cynics in their tracks, by being SO good they can\u2019t criticise you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
