At Huble, we take information security very seriously. That\u2019s why we were one of the first HubSpot partners to become certified for ISO\/IEC 27001:2013 security compliance.<\/p>\n

Now, for the second year running, we\u2019ve been certified for ISO\/IEC 27001:2013 in each of our five international businesses.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at what the process entails and what this all means in a little more detail.<\/p>\n

What is the ISO\/IEC 27001:2013 standard?<\/span><\/h2>\n

ISO\/IEC 27001:2013 is an internationally recognised standard that defines best practices for the management of the risks to the security of an organisation’s information assets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To receive this certification, we were independently audited and evaluated by our third party auditor, Sancert, and had to show them that our information security management system has been maintained and updated to ensure the continued security of both our and, more importantly, our clients’ data.<\/p>\n

After recertification, our chief executive, Bob Dearsley explained that \u201cthe ISO 27001 certification is the cornerstone of our Information Security Management policy and processes and we believe that it is key to our growing success in the Enterprise business sector. CXOs need the peace of mind and reassurance that this certification provides and it is clear that Huble is driving forward the standard for ISM systems in the HubSpot ecosystem.”<\/p>\n

The recertification process\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

As we first gained certification in 2021, we had to show that our information security controls and practices have improved continuously over the last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having grown from 100 to over 150 employees in the time since we had to deal with the complexities of ensuring that the efficiency of our security practices and controls were maintained with this increased headcount.<\/p>\n

An additional challenge was the acquisition of our new German business, which meant that we had to ensure that this new location was also compliant with the standards of ISO 27001:2013.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having led the recertification process, I was proud that we received high praise from our auditor during our assessment of our well-maintained and detailed Information Security Management Systems.<\/p>\n

With more than 150 people working in the UK, USA, Germany, Singapore, Canada, and South Africa, gaining this certification was a result of commitment and involvement from every member of our Huble team.<\/p>\n
