Rosie O\u2019Donnell just shared a picture of the cake<\/a> that Tom Cruise sent her, and it\u2019s truly a work of art. The cake features hand-painted frosting and edible confetti, and Rosie says it was a gift from \u201cThe Outsiders\u201d star Taylor Schilling.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of reasons to love Tom Cruise<\/a>, but here\u2019s one more: the actor recently sent Rosie O\u2019Donnell a cake that was so good it made her cry. The cake was coconut-flavored and had white chocolate and fresh strawberries on top.<\/p>\n

Rosie O\u2019Donnell is an American actress, comedian, singer, and television personality. She is best known for her tenures as a cast member on The Rosie O\u2019Donnell Show and The View.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell began her entertainment career as a round-the-clock nanny in New York City\u2019s Upper West Side. In 1987 she landed a recurring role on the soap opera As the World Turns and for three years she played Sable Colby Winters.<\/p>\n

In 1990 O\u2019Donnell started appearing on the daily talk show Donahue until its cancellation later that year when she became one of four new co-hosts on ABC\u2019s daytime panel talk show Home Show with Deborah Norville (also known as Home). After its cancellation in 1993, O\u2019Donnell went on to guest star in episodes of Kate & Allie (1992) and The Cosby Mysteries (1994) before being offered a hosting job at Lifetime Television\u2019s original program Strong Medicine where she was cast as Dr. Julia Wainwright from 1999 \u2013 2002.<\/p>\n

Tom Cruise is a great guy and he sent Rosie O\u2019Donnell a coconut cake, so you know she\u2019s going to love it. \u201cI really appreciate the cake @tomcruise sent me with his handwritten note,\u201d she wrote on Twitter<\/a> Tuesday morning. \u201cThat man knows how to make someone happy! And it was delicious too! Coconut cake is my favorite! I\u2019m thrilled he gets me lol.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom Cruise has long been known for his generous spirit, including gifting Oprah Winfrey with a $10 million mansion after she called him her \u201cfavorite leading man\u201d during an interview in 2012\u2014so this gesture comes as no surprise. In fact, Rosie even joked about Tom\u2019s good nature in response: \u201cAnd yes Tom\u2026I am still waiting for my invite for your fortieth birthday party next week (ahem).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
