Chair Maxine Waters of the House Financial Services Committee addressed SBF that their customers, investors, and others would benefit if they will talk to the public.\u00a0<\/span>Former CEO of Sam Bankman-Fried of FTX was called up separately by the United States House Financial Services Committee to be present in a hearing for investigation dated 13th December.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 2nd December, Maxine Waters and Patrick McHenry, a Republican posted on Twitter, requesting SBF to speak to help investigate the events aimed at the downfall of FTX. U.S. Lawmakers have however not made it clear that they would want the CEO to appear remotely from the Bahamas or in person.<\/span><\/p>\n

As appreciated by Waters, Sam Bankman-Fried had been very genuine in the discussion regarding the downfall of FTX. McHenry addresses Sam Bankman-Fried that he must try on doing the right thing and also help their customers. He asks him to testify about the statement on 12\/13 in the House Financial Services Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

The House company expected to hear from individuals and companies involved in the collapse of FTX<\/a> in November including Alameda Research, Bankman-Fried, and Binance. However, it was revealed by 11th November that the company could be responsible for holding creditors of more than 1 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Twitter<\/a> holders of Crypto brought to the limelight that millions of dollars were donated by Bankman to political candidates in the 2022 U.S. Midterm elections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bankman-Fried has stepped up and made media appearances after FTX went bankrupt with constant apologies for the errors that led to the collapse of the exchange. Extraditing of the former CEO was being taken into consideration as suggested by a report of 16th November, but Bankman-Fried was still out in the Bahamas.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
