New signups for the Business Plan will be charged $250 each month, up from $200.<\/p>\n<p>Current customers won&#8217;t cop the extra charges until May 14, 2023. That, inherently, is a governor on our pace of innovation. We can invest even faster \u2013 hire more engineers, deploy more servers \u2013 if those customers who know they&#8217;re going to use us for the next year pay for us up front.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That stance is not unusual: hyperscale clouds try to have customers pay up front for one to three years.
