In conversation with <i>The Register<\/i> Ramaswami, said inflation and the potential for future price rises did not drive those transactions, nor did Nutanix push for early deals. The company still posted a net loss of $115m but raised the floor of its full-year guidance for a predicted revenue range of $1.625bn to $1.63bn $1.615bn to $1.630bn.<\/p>\n<p>That growth probably won\u2019t come from 5G related work, an issue <i>The Register<\/i> raised as the likes of Dell, VMware, and Red Hat have recently made much of their hybrid cloud infrastructure being marvelously applicable to the new network standard\u2019s requirement for compute resources in many locations. Ramaswami said Nutanix\u2018s ability to host virtualized workloads makes it suitable for deployment in 5G rigs, but the company is \u201cnot doing specific work today\u201d to address the 5G market.<\/p>\n<p>The company is, however, working hard on its transition to a new <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2022\/02\/15\/nutanix_product_changes\/\" rel=\"noopener\">product packaging and pricing package.<\/a> Ramaswami said customers have reacted well to that new scheme.<\/p>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"adun\" data-pos=\"top\" data-raptor=\"falcon\" data-xsm=\",fluid,mpu,\" data-sm=\",fluid,mpu,\" data-md=\",fluid,mpu,\">\n            <noscript><br \/>\n                <a href=\"https:\/\/pubads.g.doubleclick.net\/gampad\/jump?co=1&amp;iu=\/6978\/reg_onprem\/systems&amp;sz=300x50%7C300x100%7C300x250%7C300x251%7C300x252%7C300x600%7C300x601&amp;tile=4&amp;c=44YiCDIoUjXDjNSayRinGGRgAAAAc&amp;t=ct%3Dns%26unitnum%3D4%26raptor%3Dfalcon%26pos%3Dmid%26test%3D0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pubads.g.doubleclick.net\/gampad\/ad?co=1&amp;iu=\/6978\/reg_onprem\/systems&amp;sz=300x50%7C300x100%7C300x250%7C300x251%7C300x252%7C300x600%7C300x601&amp;tile=4&amp;c=44YiCDIoUjXDjNSayRinGGRgAAAAc&amp;t=ct%3Dns%26unitnum%3D426raptor%3Dfalcon%26pos%3Dmid%26test%3D0\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n            <\/noscript>\n        <\/div>\n<p>\u201cThey like the simplification,\u201d he said.
