Spotify keeps your music listening history so you can quickly go back to a previously played music track. If you\u2019d like to access this list, here\u2019s how to do that on mobile, desktop, and the web.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> You can only view your Spotify listening history; you can\u2019t remove items from the history.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Access Your Spotify Listening History on Mobile<\/h2>\n

To see your recently played songs on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone, use the official Spotify app.<\/p>\n

Start by launching the Spotify app on your phone. Sign in to your account if you haven\u2019t already.<\/p>\n

In Spotify\u2019s bottom bar, tap \u201cHome\u201d to access the app\u2019s home screen.<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

When the home screen opens, in the top-right corner, tap \u201cRecently Played\u201d (a broken clock icon).<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll see a \u201cRecently Played\u201d page. Here, Spotify lists all your recently played music items.<\/p>\n

\"View<\/p>\n

If you\u2019d like to play something from this list, simply tap on an item and it will start playing.<\/p>\n

Check Your Spotify Listening History on Desktop<\/h2>\n

To view your listening history on your desktop, first, launch the Spotify app on your computer. Make sure you\u2019re signed in to your account in the app.<\/p>\n

In Spotify\u2019s bottom-right corner, click the \u201cQueue\u201d option (a play icon with two and a half horizontal lines). This is beside the volume bar.<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

On the \u201cQueue\u201d page, at the top, select the \u201cRecently Played\u201d tab.<\/p>\n

\"Access<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll now see a list of your recently played music items. Click on an item if you\u2019d like to quickly play it.<\/p>\n

\"View<\/p>\n

To perform more actions on these items, like adding these songs to a particular playlist, then click the three-dots next to an item and select the appropriate option.<\/p>\n

And you\u2019re all set.<\/p>\n

View Your Spotify Listening History on the Web<\/h2>\n

Spotify on the web<\/a> doesn\u2019t offer a dedicated tab to help you see your listening history. But, on the \u201cHome\u201d screen, you have a section displaying your recently played songs.<\/p>\n

To access that, first, launch a web browser on your computer and open the Spotify web player<\/a>. Then sign in to your account if you haven\u2019t already.<\/p>\n

After signing in, from Spotify\u2019s left sidebar, select \u201cHome.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

On the right pane, you will see a \u201cRecently Played\u201d section. You\u2019ll find your music history here.<\/p>\n

Enjoy some of your favorite music tracks from the past with your music history!<\/p>\n\n
