Sherri Shepherd will have her talk program in the autumn, taking over The Wendy Williams Show. Wendy Williams<\/a> has been unable to sit in her purple chair due to health difficulties throughout Season 14. Shepherd announced on the daytime talk program that she was getting her talk show, but she made it plain that she was not replacing Williams. Shepherd has been filling in for Williams as a guest host on Williams\u2019 show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sherri Shepherd Is Not Replacing Wendy Williams<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Viewers have flocked to the Friends<\/a> alum, who has presented producers with a terrific alternative to Williams. Due to Williams\u2019 health issues, producers have decided to cancel her talk show and replace it with one built for Shepherd, which will premiere in the autumn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although Shepherd is technically taking over for Williams, the former co-host of The View made it plain that she is not replacing the former radio presenter. Shepherd opened The Wendy Williams Show by discussing the news of her talk show and what Williams meant in the business.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wendy Williams\u2019 \u201cfearlessness\u201d as a daytime talk show anchor was complimented by Sherri Shepherd. Wendy Williams, on the other hand, is allegedly furious with the way producers have handled her medical leave. She considers the casting of Sherri Shepherd to be a \u201cslap in the face.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The show will continue through the end of the season with rotating guest hosts, including Shepherd, as Williams is sidelined due to health issues. Sherri will premiere in syndication on Fox Television Stations and broadcasters around the country next autumn, taking over Wendy Williams\u2019 Fox time slots.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shepherd praised Rosie O\u2019Donnell, a former co-panelist on ABC\u2019s The View, as well as another daytime talker. Shepherd told Cohen that O\u2019Donnell was crucial in helping her negotiate her wage. Shepherd said that because of O\u2019Donnell\u2019s recommendation, she was able to negotiate a better wage.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
