Samsung Galaxy phones show the charging information on the display even if you don\u2019t have the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/784456\/how-to-customize-the-always-on-display-on-a-samsung-galaxy-phone\/\">Always on Display<\/a> enabled. This is pretty annoying.<\/p>\n<p>For some strange reason, Samsung has an option enabled by default that shows charging information on the display. Stranger still, this option is completely separate from the Always on Display settings. If you turned off the Always on Display you probably don\u2019t want the display to be, well, <em>always on<\/em>. And if you\u2019re charging your phone at night, the lit-up screen can be bothersome. Let\u2019s fix this.<\/p>\n<p>First, swipe down once from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon to open the Settings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" data-pagespeed-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/2022-02-09_15-02-11.png?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" width=\"394\" height=\"145\" src=\"\/pagespeed_static\/1.JiBnMqyl6S.gif\" loading=\"lazy\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Now go to the \u201cDisplay\u201d settings. This is a simple fix, but if you\u2019re here you probably know how annoying it is.
