Samsung has slapped the \u201c5G\u201d term on all its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/740452\/best-samsung-phones\/\">Galaxy S22 series devices<\/a>. Depending on your area, you may not even have 5G. Turning it off can save battery life.<\/p>\n<p>Generally, your phone won\u2019t try to connect to 5G if there\u2019s not a solid connection. It will fall back to 4G LTE and even 3G if need be.
