Charli XCX\u2019s latest song \u2018Beg For You\u2019 has just dropped and Jordan Lee wanted to know all about her new single<\/a> and upcoming album. On 17th February he was joined by Charli XCX, and you listen again to the interview on the Hits Radio app.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Beg For You\u2019 is Charli\u2019s<\/a> first single of the year. It features the 2006 anthem \u2018Cry For You\u2019, by Swedish singer September and is already proving popular with fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

When the song dropped last week, fans were quick to comment on the new collab, which features Japanese-born singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama, who also supported Charli on tour in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

One fan wrote: \u2018Omg the Cry For You sample !!\u2019, with another commenting: \u2018queeeeen\u2019. (sic)<\/span><\/p>\n

Charli XCX Releases The First Song With Rina<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

This is the first time the pair have released a song together, but we\u2019re hoping it definitely isn\u2019t the last!<\/span><\/p>\n

Charli revealed that she loved working with Rina saying she\u2019s a \u201cwonderful artist\u201d. Charli XCX went on to explain she thought: \u201cThere are a lot of similarities between us, in the way that we make our music, the artistic choices that we\u2019ve made. She\u2019s definitely a boundary pusher and I try my best to continuously challenge myself and my audience with the music that I make.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The singer continued: \u201cSo it was fun, you know, she\u2019s cool, she\u2019s down to Earth and she\u2019s just really easy to hang with, so those are the people I like to collaborate with, people I genuinely have a relationship with in real life who are \u2018good vibe\u2019 people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During the interview, Charli also revealed how she feels about living in Los Angeles, and why it\u2019s so good to be back in the UK, she also gave us a little insight into what we can expect from her album \u2018Crash\u2019 which is due out next month.
